Hi, I'm Sumin.
I was born in rural China, raised by a single mother in New York City, and now study AI for Business in California. Five languages and three vastly different worlds have shaped me into someone who has spent her entire life learning how to “figure it out.”
That instinct emerged early. At 11, I became a YouTube creator; at 13, a slime-business owner; and at 15, a podcast host. In high school, I taught empowerment self-defense in schools and youth centers across New York City. Whatever the medium, I have always been a creator—scrappy, curious, and willing to dive deeply into the unfamiliar, even if it means asking a thousand questions along the way.
That kid is still the builder I am today. By approaching ambiguity with curiosity and empathy, I connect deeply with users and build human-centered solutions for real people and real problems.
